History

Mr. Kamal Khadka, a founding partner of Kathmandu IP Law & Associates Nepal (KIPLAN), joined the Kantipur Law Firm in 2003 as a part-time legal practitioner while he was engaged in an International NGO as HR/Legal professional.  Since 2007, he joined the firm as full time legal practitioner and introduced various development practices into the law firm.  He is instrumental to introduce notarial service and added value for the growth of the Kantipur Law Firm.  And now, established KIPLAN having broadening vision and objectives capable of providing services in wide variety of sectors.

The joint effort of partners and other associates have made possible to provide high quality and dedicated services to its clienteles ranging from individuals to multinational companies, NGO/INGOs, bi-lateral agencies. The firm is committed to excellence in every aspect of law that we practice.

Confidentiality

We keep our records, information provided by clients strictly confidential and oriented and trained out partners / staff to ensure handles confidentiality.  The legal requirement of proof identification for rendering notarial service is challenging and ethical. Also we are equally bound to maintain confidentiality by virtue of code of conduct and no information is provided to any third parties unless the client has provided explicit consent. We further protect this information through physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards and keep these systems updated.
